FIRE DAMAGE AT CENTRAL DISTRICT OFFICE
On Tuesday, February 4th a major fire destroyed the building located right next to theCentral District Office, that building contained apartments, a restaurant, a tea room and an antique store. The fire burned for nearly 17 hours before it was extinguished and a 25 year old resident lost his life. Because of the intensity of the fire three local fire departments were called in to help. The firefighters were able save the district office but it suffered major water, smoke and structural damage. The district staff will be locating to temporary office space later this week so contact with our staff may be limited.
We recognize that while the district has insurance on the building it will not cover all of our expenses. We will deeply appreciate your prayers and support. If you would like to contribute for the special expenses we are facing during this critical time you can do so by sending a check to our regular address or by a contribution through paypal click here. We so much appreciate your support for our mission of "multiplying healthy churches among all people".
We will be updateing this with new information when we are set up in temporary office space by the end of this week.
