50%districtmap The early roots of the Evangelical Free Church of America can be traced to Boone, Iowa. The Central District includes churches located in southest South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri and Arkansas. Since 1898 our District offices have been in several locations, but today our Central District office is located in Boone, Iowa. Our current location is a physical reminder of our connection and commitment to the doctrine and distinctives of the Evangelical Free Church of America. The ministries of the Central District complement the churches of our district by offering:
  • Quality youth events
  • Youth pastor affinity groups
  • Men's and women's ministries
  • Care and counsel for pastors and churches
  • Christian Education resources
  • Credentialing councils
  • Healthy church networks and church health development
  • Intentional church planting.
In addition, Hidden Acres Christian Center offers summer camping and retreat ministries and the Evangelical Free Church Home of Boone has quality "assisted-care living" and "independent living" facilities.
